Heads-down afternoon · Free · Amsterdam
Build Café
An afternoon to go heads-down on your work, and an evening to show what came out of it. You commit out loud at the start, and you close the loop with a demo at the end. Not just networking with coffee: building something meaningful and showing it.
How it works
Quieter and more focused than a Build Night, in four parts.
- 1
Kickoff round. Say out loud what you want to ship today. Everyone hears it, so it counts.
- 2
Focus hours. Heads down on your own project, with people around you doing the same.
- 3
Dinner and social hours with fellow builders.
- 4
Demos on the screen. A few minutes each, no slides, honest feedback.
Who it's for
- You have a project and want a block of real time on it.
- You work better with people around you who are building too.
- You want a deadline today, not someday: say it, ship it, show it.
Good to know
What does it cost?
Nothing. Build Cafés are free.
How is it different from a Build Night?
A Build Night is an open evening to meet people and start something. A Build Café is for getting real work done: a focused afternoon, closed with demos.
Do I need a project?
It helps. Come with something you want to move forward, even a small one.
Where is it?
In Amsterdam. The exact location and times are on each event page.
